Expert insight: why this works
Maternity prompts work best when they are gentle and simple: one flowing dress, one garden, one hand on the belly. Sage green is a soft, calming colour that photographs beautifully in golden light. The pose is natural and comfortable, which is exactly what a maternity portrait should feel like.
